:P no slight taken :P as a matter of fact, I DONT agree with all the things he does either :P I just always defend the constitution as so many of my family have died to defend it..so many still serve :P that is just the way things are here the local government is responsible to ask for what they need...and I do believe our President 'encouraged' the local gov to 'ask' for bit of help :P any way..nice to meet you!!! I live in Orange Park Florida..yup..hurricane alley!!! Thankfully we have been spared so far.

when I referred to "some idiots in the white house " I was not referring to the president but to some officials in the white house as the president was in Texas at the time. My comment was more about the pros and cons of written constitutions as I had not come across situations where a written constitution could be a hindrance in an unprecedented situation before. I did not mean to slight your president on this occasion although I do think some of his decisions are open to debate.

that "idiot" in the white house happens to be the President of the United States :P. HE was elected by the majoritiy of US voters...He is a wonderful Christian MAN..and i state MAN as no man is perfect except for JESUS.
Now. for what went wrong in Louisiana..so many things where will I start? AmTrac offered to send trains for FREE to help get people out...the govenor and mayor declined that offer...the Red Cross had supplies for imediate delivery....the govenor and mayor declined that offer...so, why would you call our President an idiot?"???? WE voted for him because we knew he would uphold our laws...and not 'bend' them to fit the situation. Ask La. Govenor and Mayor how many offers of help they declined. I dont know you and i'll assume you just didnt get the whole truth of this situation :P A constituion that has served us well for 200 years should NEVER be changed lightly. When the Govenor and Mayor finally asked for help, Bush was there very very quickly. There are such things as a chain of command that He followed.

Ahhhhhhh. Love dogs myself Robin. Just about to walk him. He's a very large, mad German Shepherd. I am probably going to live in New York soon and may take him with me. But I think it'll take a lot of money and trouble to do so. So I am thinking about it seriously
